AdSense format change doubles CTR for APNDroid

About a week ago Martin Adamek received an email from Google AdSense for Mobile Application, The Ads now featured a button on the right instead of the entire text being clickable. This was introduced to enhance the user experinece, something we all know Google is very keen on. Below you see APNDroid with the older implementation (left) and the new Ads (right).

While the change is subtle Martin has seen his CTR (Click through Ratio) double. He goes on to state that while its only been just over a week it seems to be the button/ad design change. This is of course good news to mobile developers.
