Acer held a press conference today and showed off a few new Android based products, 2 Tablets and a new phone. It looks like sometime in April we can expect Acer to deliver a 10-inch Android tablet, hardware specs include a Dual Core 1GHz processor, Flash 10.1 Support, HDMI out and 1280c800 resolution which tops the current offerings in the Android Tablet world (Samsung’s Galaxy Tab being 1024×600).
Also in April Acer expects to release a 7-inch version of the above tablet sporting a slight tweak in hardware in the form of a 1.2GHz Dual Core processor as well as the 1280×800 resolution and Flash support. Continue reading “Acer shows off 2 Android Tablets and a Phone!” »

Poynt has been available in the US, Canada and United Kingdom for some time now and is now branching out adding new countries and localization. Verizon has announced the immenint availablity of the latest in the Verizon DROID family of phones, Motorola’s DROID Pro. The DROID Pro is a world phone with voice and data coverage in over 200 countries. Other features include 2GB internal memory and a 2GB removable microSDHC card (expandable to 32GB) and a 5MP camera with dual led flash. Other features include Android 2.2 with full flash support. Hot off the press today CAPCOM made a major announcement that they fully intend to bring 3D gaming to Smartphone handsets. CAPCOM announced today that 3 games are going to ship pre-installed on smartphones in the future. “Mega Man”, “Resident Evil: Degeneration” and “Ghosts n’ Goblins: Gold Knights” are going to ship on the just announced Sharp 3D Phones.
